Marinucci Joins Fairweather as Business Developer

Appointment builds upon extensive business administration experience

September 4, 2014 — Fairweather, LLC has announced the appointment of Sally Marinucci as business developer. A member of the Edison Chouest Offshore group of companies, Fairweather is a 38-year-old Alaskan company providing remote medical, aviation, logistics and scientific support services to Alaska's natural resource industry. Fairweather's operations include Deadhorse Aviation Center — a multi-faceted aviation facility located on the North Slope, supporting expanding Arctic oil and gas operations — and Tulugaq, LLC, a partnership with Olgoonik Corporation and Kaktovik Iñupiat Corporation, providing remote sensing assets to gather data collection and support scientific surveys.

A native of Anchorage, AK, Marinucci earned a degree in business administration from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, Tucson. While attending college she worked as a retail advisor for Inspire Greatness Beauty Institutes. Upon graduation, Marinucci accepted a position as the institute's retail team lead, overseeing the operation of its retail center and guest services. Within a year, Marinucci was promoted to retail team mentor, advising the retail teams and developing promotions and events. When the institute added a new location in Phoenix, AZ, Marinucci was instrumental in developing the new retail center and training the retail team.

Returning to Anchorage in 2013 to pursue a career change in the health care industry, Marinucci accepted an administrative position with the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Providence Hospital. Responsibilities included managing medical inventory, coordinating meetings and overseeing the NICU's record keeping and communications.

In May 2014, Marinucci joined Fairweather as business developer. In this position, Marinucci works closely with Fairweather's management team to identify business opportunities, prepare proposals, oversee contract performance and assist with the execution of business plans. Marinucci regularly attends business seminars, trade shows and corporate functions to keep Fairweather informed of the latest developments in the natural resource industry and build relationships with fellow industry leaders.
