HSE Support Program
Fairweather has a long history of working safely in the Arctic, and is committed to sharing this knowledge and experience with companies serving Alaska’s natural resources industry. Fairweather’s award-winning health, safety and environment (HSE) services are based on strict adherence to industry-best practices and a dedication to the philosophy that nobody gets hurt on the job. Fairweather offers a complete range of HSErelated products, including the development and field execution of custom-tailored HSE plans, performance auditing and continuous improvement models.
Supporting operations in the Alaskan arctic since 1976, Fairweather is recognized as a proven leader in HSE performance. According to Petroleum News, August 18, 2002, Fairweather “pioneered an entirely new category of oilfield services as a contract operator for hire.” This innovative working arrangement has allowed leaner oil companies to excel on the Alaskan North Slope, supported by a professional turnkey HSE staff with extensive Alaskan experience. In addition to promoting field safety performance, Fairweather is also known for its exemplary workplace safety, evidenced by the 2015 Cole Griggs Award for Safety presented by BP and the 2015 Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence presented by the State of Alaska.
